soaked floor

After it rains the driverside floor of my 92 cavalier is soaked, no sunroof or cracks in any glass, what could be the problem?

Re: soaked floor

Coming in from around the door seems? Are you sure it's completly shutting? Or what about coming in from the hood then somehow in through the firewall?
Or coming in through the bottom of the windshield where the vents are? Does it get soaked just sitting or after/while you drive? How's the under carriage look?

Re: soaked floor

I sold my 94 cavy because of that.... apparently after so many repairs done around the wire harnesses and, around the windshield... finally the car was diagnosed with a seriously affected with firewall rust... the underneath just below the dash was all rusted and, this problem strating happening last winter right after I had an accident. Apperantly the rust was there but it all broke up after i hit... and, ever since that accident water began coming in.. so thats why i sold it.. Got myself a 2002 z24 silver with an ecotec engine.. with roughly around 30,000miles on it. Car runs great..

Re: soaked floor

It could be as simple as not completely shutting your door to openings in your door seals (there are little holes in which the rubber fits into), or to as annoying as a leaky quarter window.
