Cool Miami Vice

Well This is the Tamiya Testarossa (1984).But who hasnīt had a poster of it in th e`80s in its room?
The kit is in 1/24 at has the boxer 12 inside. The overall quality is good but there two flaws:One is that the rear deck lid doesnīt adjust properly for closing / opening it , the other is that the winshield part doesnīt much in size quite well with the body and leaves a noticiable gap in the A-Pillars. These things can be solved sanding a little bit here a little bit there , but...
Apart from it itīs obvious why I choose white on beige for the colour scheme right. But If I think it twice yellow on white would be stunning also, like the 348TS and LAmbo Silhouette I have to finish!.
Well ,the kit recommendable it is , but I donīt If thereīs a big leap in quality in referring to the 1/24 car from Monogram, may be not so.
Making a scratch built Spyder immitating the silver one-off of ex-Fiat owner Giovanni Agnelli would be a fine project also-

the model you see here was made many years ago , so youīll find flaws , itīs natural. MAy be a wax it one of these days.

cool!

I'm just finishing up my fujimi 348 tb right now. To the untrained eye, it looks just like a testarossa.

BTW, I don't see many flaws You're too modest

That aint no V-12, It's an H-12! Flat engine like the subarus and porsches use.

Strange a White Testarossa eh?

Well , flat engines are called "boxers".The most reknown machine with an engine the like itīs the timeless , original Beetle. then the 911.Also Alfa Romeo made them in the eighties.

Well , the 348TB from Fujimi is not bad.My cousin is building one , the one dubbed by Fujimi as "Black Star". Personally I prefer the 348TB/TS from Hasegawa because of the finer proportions and the V8 at the rear.
About the Revell / ITaleri offerings , I really donīt know how could they be.
The Revell Testarossa might be the same as the ITaleri one, I think, taking on account that they share the 250GT California , the 250GTO , the 288GTO, and the 275GTB/4 and 365GTS/4 Daytona.
