how many miles were on your last set of tire.

how many miles were on your last set of tire? what kind were they? i currently have nitto terragrapplers 285/75/16 and i would swear they didn't last as long as my dayton timberline at the same size. these nittos have almost 40000 miles and need replacing.

I think I had about 37k on the factory tires when I bought new ones.

Re: how many miles were on your last set of tire.

37K on the factory passenger car tires...53K on the Michelin 6 ply LT tires I got from NTB and are now sold at Sears. Even with 53K on them they still look very good. They are 265's and I keep 45lbs of air in them. With 50 lbs they bounce to much.

Re: how many miles were on your last set of tire.

I have a set of BFG's 265/75/16. I have the Long Terrain.. they are not quite as aggressive as the A/T but they look pretty good on the truck. So far I have 50K on the tires and I still have plenty of tread left.

Re: how many miles were on your last set of tire.

I put about 15K on a new set of "generals" from the chevy dealer, they gave a new set to me when I bought the used truck. . I gave em away, and put a set of Michelin XRadials from Sam's Club on. Much Much happier.

The generals were seperating and made alot of noise. My mom was even like WTF?
