Bleeding Grand Caravan Brakes

Hello Everyone,

Has anyone successfully tried the Grand Caravan brake bleeding technique described on www.autozone.com? Its URL is listed below.

http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBr...3d8010d95c.jsp

Do you actually need a Chrysler DRB to select the ‘bleed ABS hydraulic unit mode’? How much does a DRB cost and where do you get it from??

Thanks for your help.

Best Regards,
Stan

Re: Bleeding Grand Caravan Brakes

As long as you don not distrub the ABS controller you can bleed in the normal manner. I have a Caravan with ABS and have bled the brakes many times. I finally added the Russel speed bleeders to make the job easier, but normal bleed procedures work just fine (even on my BMW 750).

Hello Bear,
Thanks for your help. I put in the new: rear wheal cylinders, pads and master cylinder, and started the bleeding process.

Best Regards,
Stan
