2000 Cirrus Cruise Control Problem

When setting the cruise to a set speed with the set button the engine will surge a little bit more than normal.

Re: 2000 Cirrus Cruise Control Problem

Those earlier systems had a tendency to overshoot speed a bit,be careful to set the speed while keeping the throttlr depressed at the speed you are driving,& let the cruise solenoid take the throttle over, you'll feel it. Don't let go of the throttle until then 'cause then the cruise will over compensate for the speed you have lost between the time you pushed the button,& the time the throttle is pulled enough to make it back up.
