oil drops on pavement

My girlfriend has a '94 Accord with the V-Tech engine and I have noticed what seems to be an increased amount of oil drops under the car. I do not know anything about Honda degradation and wanted to know if anyone knows what component could be making this? Should I just check the oil pan plug or is there something else that causes these to leak after so many years.

I told her that I think since it's 12 years old that it's just bad seals in the pan or something like that. Is there any fix I could perform?

Just because it shows on pan doesn't mean its leaking there. My '91 has a minor leak at the rocker cover gasket and shows up down there too ( a very common area to leak). Nothing to be alarmed about anyway with the age of the cars.
The only sure way to locate a leak is to shampoo engine , and then check all over after driving.
There are pros and cons to using "stop leak" solutions, so that's entirely up to yourself.

Could be a valve cover gasket or an oil pump leak. Need to know where the oil is dripping from.

Couple seals may leak:

1. Valve cover seal
2. Distributor shaft seal (right side of car)
3. Cam shaft seal (left)
4. Balancer shaft seal (left)
5. Crank shaft front seal (left)
6. Rear main seal (middle)
7. Oil pan seal

I may miss some.

1 & 2 are easy.

3 thru 6 are big jobs.

7 is medium.
