water ingress, dashboard problems & more

Hi, I'm new to all this, but i'm trying
My hubby just got a BMW 5 series (1992 i think) and well the problems just keep coming.
Weve tried getting a Haynes manual but there dont seem to be one for this year/model
Whenever he parks the car facing down the hill if its raining the passangers seat gets wet and foot well fills with water.
The dashboard headlight light only works when it wants to, but the headlights themsealves work fine.
While the engines warming up it's very noisey / rattley
well i think i'll stop there, hope someone can advise
