2000 Silverado
 Ok i have a 2000 silverado. and i am looking to make it faster but i still wanna be able to tow and not lose that much gas. i have a k&n intake on it that makes the get up and go lil faster and sounds cool. but i dont really want to spend to much. friend said i can get a clip that changes the shift points and the maxs the speed. do those work or not. or if any one has any ideas in what i can do. i dont want to put and turbo or supercharger nothing like that. thanks for your helpJesse

what kind of engine? if you say 4.3L V6 then we can't help you

exhaust, and to make it real quick you can throw some 5.10 gears in it.

Hi Jesse...I have a 2000 K1500 5.3 and I have a K&N intake, Superchips programmer and I replaced the huge muffler with a little Borla turbo muffler and I really can feel the difference. Gas milage went up not down if I keep my foot out of it. You can do other things but those three make the biggest gains.
