Re: E Brake

Funny thing is that I have new shoes for the rear, and pads for the front in my trunk.

Re: E Brake

my damn e-brake has to be pulled all the way up to keep the car from moving. I dont care though, I figure hell if its going to roll down a hill then i'll just collect the insurance money from it. (anyway when I park I just put my car in gear and use the e-brake)

but you wont have to even worry about the clicks if you just push and hold the button in while your pulling it up

Re: E Brake

Well I have the same problem my e-brake handle goes all the way past the last clicky thing and barely holds the car in place. (btw shoes are almost brand new). Now from how I understand, there are 3 place where you can adjust the e-brake cable. 1)In the handle/lever mechanism, 2)In front of the rear axle where the front brake cable connects to the rear cable, and 3) inside the brake drum itself. However when my car was inspected before I bought it I was told that if I had my rear brake shoes cleaned and adjusted it would fix the problem with my e-brake. So I would check that first before tightening the cable up.
