95 Grand Am ac/ heater knobs

Wanted to get some new control knobs for the ac/heater on my 95. Seen some on e-bay stating that they were for 99-05, but the pic looks exactly like the ones for my 95. Will they work? Where is the cut off in years where they changed? Thanks.

Re: 95 Grand Am ac/ heater knobs

I doubt the 99+ would fit the 95's but Im relatively sure they make aftermarket knobs for 92-95. Dont quote me tho I could be wrong on both accounts

Re: 95 Grand Am ac/ heater knobs

Get the knobs for a 96-98, they are much heavier than the 92-95 knobs and they don't break as easily. I replaced mine 5 times using stock ones, got sick of it and grabbed knobs from a wrecked 98, have not had any problems in 2 years.

Yup. And if you are clever enough, you can make the panel that holds the controls fit as well, the 96-98 knobs are designed to be backlit. Only takes a litttle trimming with a sharp knife, and a box of bandaids for when the knife slips.
