Hi there, I just did something kinda stupid and am wondering if you can help me. I was checking the level of my power steering fluid and noticed it to be a little low. So I grabbed what I thought was powersteering fluid and topped it off. It turned out to be brake fluid, which I understand is nasty stuff. I didn't put that much in and am wondering if I need to get the system flushed. Thanks for your time, Louis

Re: I'm a dummy, brake fluid in power steering resevoir!
Not going to hurt since brake fluid can be acidic.
Better to pay a little now than a lot later to get a pump and steering components replaced. Take it to a local trusted mom and pop repair shop rather than a big chain. They can give you their opinion on this also. Jason |
