No Brake Lights
I have a 2002 (bought used) w/ 51000 miles. A couple of weeks ago the rear brake lights quit working (the "third" brake light in the rear window still works). Fuse is OK. Anybody have any ideas? The tail lights (in fact, all of the other lights) work just fine.

Re: No Brake Lights
Curious if you got this resolved.....
Was it the bulbs, or maybe a pinched wire? |

Re: No Brake Lights
It was the bulbs - but what would cause all of them to blow-out? My wife drives this car and I work out of town so I don't get to see it every day. By the time I did get to it the center bulbs had blown also, so my theory that it was a bad splice in the harness somewhere was gone...

Re: No Brake Lights
My girlfriends car has the same issue, but I have not looked into it yet. Does the owners manual tell you were to find the fuse panel (if not, where is the fuse panel?) and which fuse is used by the rear brake lights? It might be both bulbs are burnt out, but I want to check the fuse first since both brake lights are out! I know this thread is old but just thought someone out there might know something.

Re: No Brake Lights
My 06 eats bulbs like they are going out of style. I bet this year I had to replace them at least 2 times.
