1.3L carb problems

Well, my car hasn't run since I bought it, and here's what it does. When you start it, you have to really baby and give it gas to keep it running. Once it warms up, it will run on its own, but sometimes this doesn't even work. The idle will start to go up and down, and I think its a clogged jet in the carb, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any advice?

If you don't know to rebuild the carburator find somebody who will do it for you. Probably an older mechanic.
