Thud noise while turning
Hi There, i currently have a 1998 106 1.1 with a weird problem, while turning a thudding noise is heard from the steering somewhere. I was advised it was both driveshafts and had them both replaced which did not fix the problem.
Anybody else had this problem? |

Re: Thud noise while turning
Is the sound you have more of a thud, thud, thd, thud sound whilst steering and accelerating, if so i have the same problem and have been told that its the CV boots around the CV joints, thats why the noise only occurs while sterring and accelerating.
To fix this isn't that easy and will require several new parts and several hours (maybe even days) of work. I haven't looked into tit any further but am doing so soon, any more info i get i'll post back here and let you know. |
