!994 Bonneville Transmission

I been having problems with my car when I go to kick it down and go. It does not kick down. I changed the TPS and it still the same. So Advance finally told me that it more than likely was the 3 and 4th gear shift solenoid. Does this make sense? Does anyone know if it is hard to put in? Does the transmission have to be pulled? Please reply soon if anyone knows anything.

This problem should be looked at using a full trans function scanner for trans codes, solenoid operation and slippage errors, do not do anything prior to this diagnostic procedure. Advance is advising on trans problems, please!!

Re: 1994 Bonneville Transmission

I am glad to say that I have fixed my problem. When I replaced the throttle position I put it on wrong. The throttle pin was suppose to be on one side of it and I had it on the other side of the sensor lever. So when you take something off it is best to take pics and everything else so you will know how it goes back.
