3000gt motor swap to vr4
Well i have been thinking about making my 3000gt N/a into a vr4 for awhile and i did some research and found alot out and with some help from the people here also. And i found a vr4 motor with the complete harness and ecu everything i need except the intercoolers. I was wondering how hard would it be to swap that in with the motor i have now. And will it beable to fit and drop right in. Thanks for the help.

If you have a DOHC its fairly simple, if you have a SOHC its a lot more involved.

A few "bolt on" mods, a couple "cut, smash, hammer, weld, etc" mods, and a couple "why the hell do I need this/what the hell is this" weight reductions.

yeah i have the dohc motor but i didnt see any info in the faq i guess i will read again right now thanks.

have you looked into converting instead of swapping? I dont know if its more of less of a PITA, but it will save you from pulling the complete engine out.
