my revell choppers

I threw these together in a couple of weekends. I just wanted to see how they went together. I did some minor kitbashing with the two kits, and this is what I came up with. I want to build more of these with more detail and some custom work.

These are just superb.. Is that the original chrome work or did you spray this?

Great work. You show well that in the hands of a skilled modeler, they can turn out well even close to box stock. Fantastic finishes! The blue one is rad as hell.

Re: my revell choppers

Nice! Make me want to build them...

Can you change the rear fender from the other kit?

I like the stretched chassis from the first but the rear fender of the second...

I prefer your second one!

Re: my revell choppers

BTW, are they big? Compare to a 1/24 car??

I love them both!! I'm not a bike builder but I'd love to see what I could do with one of these!

Re: my revell choppers

The chrome is original, I did nothing to it. I did swap some parts around with the two kits, in fact I swapped fenders. I took a little doing but it worked. They are 1/12 scale, just a little bigger than a 1/24 scale car, if you are referring to actual size.

Re: my revell choppers

Not my kind of bike, but they do look good.

Maybe some more detail could be done, like the brake cables (even if they are hidden inside the handlebar they should appear after...)
And a belt-drive would be nice...

Ummmm......That's a Maltese cross.....very popular with the biker crowd, and is stock on both kits.
