Re: need help with 24 point radio connector

what radio is it and does it hav a tape unit?

On models with the tape deck below the CD controls the tape deck when in use. fast forward, rewind, etc.

Are you installing a new head unit ?

Re: need help with 24 point radio connector

its a stock radio with cd, no cassette. out of a 2003 grand am. i cut the wiring with connector out of the car too. im going to put it in either my 91 s10 or 86 isuzu pup. just need to figure out those 4 wires. the info i got was from audio and eletronics forums-j-body.org. it showed me wiring for a standard 24 port connector. and my 24 port has a few more wires than they spoke of.
its a stock delco part number 10315120 made in 2001.

Re: need help with 24 point radio connector

Well from the list above, sounds like you hav all the wires coded you need.
All spkr wires, grounds, power, the b3 wire is signal on for the amp(or something).

The other wires if anything are for connecting a tape deck or cd changer or other devices Gm had in store for it.
