Might go to a track on Sunday
I might get a chance to go to a track this weekend. Does anyone have any pointers? Curtis I am sure you know alil somethin, somethin...
edit, even if I dont race I will get some vids...

Practice.
My first time out I was horrible. Hard to find a good launch point when you put down 300+ ft/pounds from 2,000 RPM's on.

I kinda thought i would start off without reving over like 1500 or 2000. not sure I should go out and play before I go. But like I said not even sure if I will race. It starts at 8 am and i dont even get off work at the ambulance untill 8 am on sunday. Drive time is like one and a half hours. So might not be cost effective for me to race....

I was supposed to be racing tomorrow as well.
But I might have to wait a couple days. I need to figure out a way to pull the wheel studs through the hub on the front. The problem....the hub spins freely when you start wrenching on it.

do you have a hub puller? maybe you could remove the hub and take the studds off easier with it held in a vice or something.

when i've worked on cars with friends we just had someone sit in the driver's seat and push the brakes. and on the cars with linelock we just did like you did, put it on.
i remember my friend being worried when we put him in the driver's seat then raised the car on a lift, not sure why he was scared though.

When I get off stand by for the ambulance I am going to Woodburn. Should be fun. I will take some vids and pics. A friend of mine said there was a camaro run 8 sec today. Wish I could have seen it.
