Intermittent white smoke. WTF?

Took the new rig on a run to the dump and on the way there it started blowing white smoke. Temp was normal, I was fixing to shut it down, the SES light came on and the smoke quit!
Made it back home with no problems, except every couple of minutes it would start blowing smoke like crazy and then quit.
Once I got home the cat was hot enough to bake a pizza under, and I had tranny fluid and motor oil leaking from all over the place.
The radiator did not boil over and I pulled a code 32 and a code 43, which really sucks because I just changed the EGR valve and the knock sensor this morning.

This one is just plain weird.
Any ideas?

Re: Intermittent white smoke. WTF?

Take a good look at your trans fluid level...
On mine the PO had lots of fun with something similar... had the heads done... spent a ton of $ and it turned out to be the diaphram in the vac modulator on the transmission, drawing ATF up the vacum line and burning it!
Just keep an eye on that?

That's what I was getting at. The only transmissions that he'd have with a vacuum modulator are a TH350 or 400.
