I have a 99 chevy truck with a 350R eng. that I replaced the lifters in.
I need to know how to adjust the rocker arms without the eng. running. It has alot of wiring and things that need to be hooked up in order to crank it and I would like to avoid doing it twice. |

im not familiar with your engine but if they are hydraulic lifters you should torque the rocker arm bolts to the specified ft/lb-age, its 22ft/lbs on my '99 4800 vortec... if these are solid lifters i believe its like 0.05" clearance? or maybe not ive never owned anything with non-hydraulic lifters. but its a decimal of an inch, for sure.
