Re: need help cleaning your paint brush

Lacquer thinner by the gallon from your local hardware store. Gunze also has a "Mr. Tool Cleaner" product which also works wonders.
Windex will do if you only use arcrylics.
Just be sure to give your AB a strip down and clean everything thoroughly every now and then.
Automotive thinners... too expensive for anything except for painting...

For acrylics I use a brush cleaner I get from Michael's crafts, for enamels I have an enamel brush cleaner and for lacquers I use the automotice lacquer mentioned above.

Re: need help cleaning your paint brush

Acrylic Thinner for Acrylic paint
Enamel Thinner for Enamel paint
Lacquer Thinner for Lacquer paint.

But that said, Lacquer Thinner will clean any type of paint. So if you are "cheap", you can only use the lacquer one. Just note that it is a strong material and could damage (kill) your brush faster than other thinner.
