2007 Suzuki GSXR1000

2007 GSXR1K Confirmed:

I am not too big on dual exhausts, since if you ever drop it, can is the first to go on either side. Also first to drag around turns.

Other new Suzukis:

Re: 2007 Suzuki GSXR1000

i saw a picture somewhere that showed a traction control switch on the 07 gsxr 1K's controls. pretty sick. i'm not big on the exhaust either but all in all i like the bike.

Re: 2007 Suzuki GSXR1000

Not really traction control, just different maps, similar to power commander.

Quote:
One piece of info Suzuki has released is that the new GSX-R1000 will feature three different engine mapping configurations, selectable via a three-position handlebar switch: standard, sport, and 'wet' (which would likely soften power significantly, and would also be helpful on cold tires). A useful feature, although it's importance is being somewhat over-hyped by some European media.

They know you're just gonna change them anyway, so why bother putting a lot of thought/money into the cans?

Just looks light another jock-strap-headlight-disaster brought to us by Zuk.

yep. since yoshi is in bed with suzuki so much, now they can squeeze more cash out of us by making us need 2 pipes.

i don't like the color scheme. i'd have to see other colors first.

good news is that there may be a price drop for the previous model to get rid of old stock

Re: 2007 Suzuki GSXR1000

i dunno, the first sight of the twin pipes minus fairing almost made me spew... but the picture with full-fairing doesnt look too bad... and surely suzuki would've taken ground-clearance issues into mind while designing the cans??

it could grow on me...
