removing speed limiter

let me say this 1st yes i know these wern't ment to go fast...yes i know its ...anyways ingoring those topics is there any way to bypass the speed limiter in the 95 vortec with the ecu on the fender under the hood (obd1) i have not found any programmers except for the 96-up what about the 95's

Re: removing speed limiter

As far as i know this is a rumor. But i've heard that you can unplug the speed sensor on the tranny and it will keep it from shutting off. Your speedometer won't read anything but you can get a gps to see how fast your goin. I honestly think it's not gonna go anywhere if you unplug it but you can try it.
