- Sunroof Motor does not close sunroof window, can be replaced at a dealership if needed, can be cranked closed manually using allen-wrench

Car Notes:
- Engine is babied, highly recommend a synthetic oil change ever 3000 miles of use
- Please use at least 89 octane unleaded fuel
- Acceleration is best felt after car reaches normal operating temperature of 195-200 degress F
- Alternator was replaced at 100,000 miles

- Spark plug wires were replaced at 112,000 miles
- All mods were performed after 105,000 miles

Car Modifications/Upgrades:
- Custom cold air intake kit to allow mass amount of cold air to breach intake manifold and allow for better combustion of air/fuel mix
- Apexi N1S bomb muffler installed to create freeflow, non-restrictive exhaust, allowing engine to breath easier, and reach redline faster.
- Spark plugs replaced due to old, OEM plugs being too old to function any longer
- Spark plug wires replaced for same reason as spark plugs
- Strut bar installed to ensure suspension is stiff, and engine does not sway
- Motor mounts installed to keep engine attached properly to engine bay
- Breather hole filter installed to take out restrictive OEM air intake box and manifold/plenum
- Blue underglow lights installed into car interior, control panel attached to center console, about 10 modes of operation/flash patterns
- All tires were placed with Alloy Touring tires, since front left OEM tire had blown from age
- Pulleys were oiled for faster operation
- Intake throttle body was straight-piped to cold air intake to allow faster throttle response and more horsepower to be produced

other notes will come up as i can think of them, i am asking for $2,000, or your best offer. this car was so fun to drive, but being an asian, i have to own an asian-built (import) car, therefore a chevy-built cavalier will not do! again, feel free to ask questions at any time, here are some pics of the car:

Sorry, have to get to work, I will upload more photos when I get back!!

Re: 1998 Cavalier RS

your phone number is pretty much useless without an area code...
also, the 2200 does not have 16 vavles, the 2.4 does though

edit: i believe the 2200 has 2 valves per cylinder (8 total) i KNOW it doesnt have 16 though

Re: 1998 Cavalier RS

OK, just some things to clarify, because i cannot find my phone right now, if you are interested, just simply email me at the following:

[email protected]

Second, I have some more pics of the cavy here....

Even more coming soon...

I need to sell this in about a week, so I am also listing it on ebay, but if you are interested, again, I am asking for $2,000 or best offer, so email me any questions or concerns you may have. Note to previous repliers; Thank you for clarifying the engine valves per cylinder, etc. I am not a thorough expert on my car's particular engine.

incorrect, short ram intake installed, aftermarket exhaust, spark plug wires have replaced the OEM parts. i have an aftermarket cat converter that i was going to put in, but didnt have the time to. i still have it in its box, which can be included as well. everything else was kept as hard as possible to be stock, since i wasnt going to do any major modifications, the value of car would degrade considerably. interior pics i dont have on me, but i have a video that shows how it drives, and the interior as well as the engine (you cant see the engine bay too well since it was dark), take a look here:

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=1193792525

Some of the information on the various slides are incorrect, had a friend make this video for me since i didnt have the time on my hands to do it myself, not the greatest vid, but you know, gets the job done. heres what should be corrected:

- engine is 8-valve, 2 valves per cylinder, not 16-valve
- 0-100 timings are unknown, 0-60 timings are about right

Any more questions, please let me know.
