1998 Cavalier RS
Alas, now has the time come for me to sell my modded cavy, as my heart is now desiring a new automotive beast, therefore, since I have to carry out a loan, I must pay off as much as possible! So, here be the specs of the car, whats be done to it, its condition, any dings or mishaps to note, etc. I would dearly like this sold within the next week or so, therefore reply as soon as you can if interested, or call my cell at 480-9162!!
1998 Chevrolet Cavalier Rally Sport Coupe Engine: 2200SFI Displacement: 2.2L (2200cc) Cylinders: Inline-Four Valves: 16 Transmisson: 4-speed Automatic w/ 1st, 2nd, 3rd electronic, 4th is Drive Miles: 115,000 Engine Details... Engine Type: Overhead Valve (Push-pistons) Cams: 1 (Single) Fuel Managment: Multiport Fuel Injected, ECU controls A/F ratio Sensors: Two O2 (oxygen flow) sensors located at intake piping, and exhaust piping Pistons: OEM Push Pistons (Iron?) Spark Plugs: Bosch Platinum Plugs Spark Plug Wires: 6CORE Performance Spark Plug Wires - Red Oil Filter: VALUCRAFT Select Grade from Midas Auto Services Oil Issued: Synthetic (type unknown) Fuel Type: Gasoline Unleaded Octane Rating Issued: Usually 89, sometimes 91 if I'm feeling lucky Engine Layout: Inline-Four, Four valves per Cylinder Interior Details... Seats: Cloth, Embroidered with the Rally Sport logo on both head pieces Backseats: Cloth Seatbelts: Both passenger and rear seats Pedals: OEM, black Speedometer: Black background w/ White values, needles are red, range is 0-110 mph, backlight brightness is adjustable if needed Tachometer: Black background w/ white values, needles are red, range is 0-9000RPM, redline at 6500RPM Gas Meter: Basic needle and values, Somewhat accurate to the real thing Temp Meter: 0-over250 in range, 200 is normal operating temp Oil Meter: None, use the dipstick you idiot Battery Meter: The battery wont last long with the car off and all utilites running, no need for a battery meter at that point Dash: Black, leather/vinyl, armor-all treated Windows: Electric-driven, switches located at center console Doorlocks: Electric inside, manual (key) outside Sunroof: Yes! OH YES! Tape Player: No, this car is farely new, why would u want to listen to tapes anyway you old timer Radio: Yes, builtin to CD deck, XM-ready too! CD Player: Single, Pioneer-brand, has Equalizers, 50Wx4, MOSFET, etc, LED panel display, high quality stuff Cigarette Lighter Port: 1, located by steering wheel column E-brake: Yes, located by tranny shifter at center console Air conditioning: Yes Heater: Yes Adjustable air vents: Yes, definately Foot vents: Of course Finger vents: No such thing, silly! glovebox: Yes, has a light buit into it Exterior Details... Wheels: Alloy, Touring Tires (15"??!) Paint: Black gloss-coated, factory paint Windows: 2 passenger-side, 1 dash, 1 rear, 2 mini windows for rear seating, 1 moonroof window Mirrors: 2 passenger. Electric-driven, adjustable inside by switch located on left side door. Also rear-view mirror with 2 reading lamps and rear sensors Windshield Wipers: 2 on dash window, screws extra tightened for durability during winter seasons Heat-ribbed windows: Rear only, electric-powered heating, allows ice and snow to melt off rear window in about 5-10 minutes of operation Logos/Decals: Original Rally Sport logos on left and right side of car, HEUBSCH chevrolet on back, as well as cavalier and chevy symbols on front and back Trunk: Key and keyless access, optional net, spare tire compartment with necessary jack kit and spare tire included Car Mishaps/Problems: - Air Conditioning blows semi-cold during hottest of days - Glovebox compartment door and handle are damaged, can be easily replaced, parts are plastic and easy to remove - Minor scratches and scuffs on exterior due to parking and working at public mall, and driving on gravel roads to school - Sunroof Motor does not close sunroof window, can be replaced at a dealership if needed, can be cranked closed manually using allen-wrench Car Notes: - Engine is babied, highly recommend a synthetic oil change ever 3000 miles of use - Please use at least 89 octane unleaded fuel - Acceleration is best felt after car reaches normal operating temperature of 195-200 degress F - Alternator was replaced at 100,000 miles - Right window was replaced last year - Spark plugs were replaced at 108,000 miles - Spark plug wires were replaced at 112,000 miles - All mods were performed after 105,000 miles Car Modifications/Upgrades: - Custom cold air intake kit to allow mass amount of cold air to breach intake manifold and allow for better combustion of air/fuel mix - Apexi N1S bomb muffler installed to create freeflow, non-restrictive exhaust, allowing engine to breath easier, and reach redline faster. - Spark plugs replaced due to old, OEM plugs being too old to function any longer - Spark plug wires replaced for same reason as spark plugs - Strut bar installed to ensure suspension is stiff, and engine does not sway - Motor mounts installed to keep engine attached properly to engine bay - Breather hole filter installed to take out restrictive OEM air intake box and manifold/plenum - Blue underglow lights installed into car interior, control panel attached to center console, about 10 modes of operation/flash patterns - All tires were placed with Alloy Touring tires, since front left OEM tire had blown from age - Pulleys were oiled for faster operation - Intake throttle body was straight-piped to cold air intake to allow faster throttle response and more horsepower to be produced other notes will come up as i can think of them, i am asking for $2,000, or your best offer. this car was so fun to drive, but being an asian, i have to own an asian-built (import) car, therefore a chevy-built cavalier will not do! again, feel free to ask questions at any time, here are some pics of the car: ![]() Sorry, have to get to work, I will upload more photos when I get back!!

your phone number is pretty much useless without an area code...
also, the 2200 does not have 16 vavles, the 2.4 does though edit: i believe the 2200 has 2 valves per cylinder (8 total) i KNOW it doesnt have 16 though

Note to previous repliers; Thank you for clarifying the engine valves per cylinder, etc. I am not a thorough expert on my car's particular engine.
