weird thing with the ventilation

hi,

i own a P12 , 2006 2L petrol..

when i am turning the air condition off while driving, the flow of fresh air is then automatically diverted into the car through the LEGS air shaft..

it's like the default air shaft for when the air con is off, is the lower ventilation mode.

is this reasonable ? anyone else seen that ?
