Tranny Talk

Ok so we all (ok maybe most of us) know that using our H23 trans with the H22 motor is actually better then the H22 trans. The longer gears lack a little in the low-end but help where it matters; Top end, VTEC. Also we know that the H22 trans is known for not being very reliable (strong) unless we build it up. We also know that alot of people who use our H series in Civi's and what not bolt-up B series transmissions to them. I'm just wondering what edge a B series trans has over a H23 trans and would we beable to fit it in our 4th gen (prelude) engine bays with little to no fabrication..
Just something to discuss...
so let's getting talkin'

Re: Tranny Talk

Not sure about the fitment but B series transmissions are overall stronger and have much larger aftermarket support than H series.

Re: Tranny Talk

The H series trans may weight a little more, I really don't know. B seires transmissions are just more reliable, especially when you start putting down big numbers. Also, IMO, cable shifters feel sloppy. B series use solid shift linkage which give a more positive feel to shifting.
