1972 Chevelle SS 402 Matching Numbers 4-Speed

SEE WEB LINK
http://home.comcast.net/~musclemachi...72CHEVELLE.htm

Here is an example of a nicely preserved SS Big Block car. This car is equipped with a completely Numbers Matching 402 motor, 4-speed trans., rear end, etc. IT’S NOT A 454. It just has the fender markings and air cleaner sticker. IT’S A REAL U CODE VIN SS CAR.
It retains all of it original sheet metal, including floors, trunk, fenders, and rear quarters (numbers are factory stamped on the quarters). The undercarriage is very clean and rust free.

Vitals:
402 BB Engine – Numbers Matching
Muncie 4-speed Trans– Numbers Matching
12 Bolt 3.31 Posi Rear end - Numbers Matching
Cowl Induction Hood with working flap
Factory Black Buckets Seats – No rips or tears
Real Code 75 Cranberry Red paint
Original Rear Quarters – Numbers are stamped in by trunk area
Points type Ignition
Factory Rally Gauges
F41 Suspension
Build Sheet

The car comes with a clear title and a folder full of receipts, including engine rebuild and miscellaneous parts. Engine has approximately 1800 miles since rebuild (have receipt). I also have the factory smog pump equipment with the engine manifolds, orange painted valve covers, and original water pump. Also, I have the original black air cleaner cover.

What is Needs:
The paint is dated. It is certainly presentable, but not show quality. It was painted approximately 10 years ago and showing its age. It has some chips and other imperfections.
The front grill has a small crack.
Needs a rubber Trunk seal
Needs a door rubber seal by window area
Cowl Induction air cleaner seal

Please, if you’re interested in a Barrett Jackson restored car in perfect condition this is not the car for you. If you want to own a Genuine 1972 numbers matching Big Block 4-speed Cranberry Red SS Chevelle, then by all means call and come see the car.

This car runs, drives, shifts, and performs SUPER. It is very original and factory stock. Mickey Mouse does not live here!

More details and pictures are available. Please call.

Asking $29,000
