eengine problems on 93 protege

Engine just started goin bad today. It happened two times already. Where the engine will jsut not start. Its close to starting like you can hear it "trying" but it doesnt start all the way. Any suggestions?

Try starter spray to see if it's a fuel problem. Your fuel pump could be going out, or it could be lots of other stuff. First find out: do you have fuel, do you have a spark, to you have air flow. Then start narrowing it down further.
