Heat & power loss

Guys...

I do have a blazer 4x4 2000 v6 vortek......

I don't know if this is common, but i'd appreciate your comments on it....

On my truck, when the water temp goes up,... let's say 10 degrees about normal.... i feel like the car losses a lot of power, as a matter of fact, in that moment i do have to push the gas pedal more than usual to get the same acceleration.

Also i can hear this loudy "Hummmm" as i'm requesting for power on the car.

This effect is more evident when i'm climbing using the 4Hi. I think this obvius in that condition as the motor tends to overheat due to the high power demand, and it's notorious as i'm requiring the full throtle on the truck.

It's not related to the A/C as it happens with it turned on or off independently.

thanks for any comment you might have....

Earp....
