Where is a new 599 race car?

LMSR.NET is told today that the Ferrari new 599 GTC (race version of the 599 GTB [Fiorano] road car) is ahead of schedule on its development and may be seen prior to its scheduled January 2007 unveiling. This coming direct from a member of the pro

The following is from the August, 2006 issue of Racecar Engineering:

"Owner and technical chief of Scuderia Ecosse, Stewart Roden, is optimistic about Ferrari's future in racing: 'We had a few problems initially, as you might expect, but that's sorted. It's a good car, though next year I'd ideally like to have a 599 GT1 car.'

It will be really nice to have an updated Ferrari to compete in the GT1 class of LeMans

it would be nice as chevys C6 racecar was racing before the street car was out.
