PayPal Users Beware

My dad called me about this to notify me that there are some BS PayPal emails goin around after he got one, now I recieved one just today. It looks like a legitimate PayPal, and I took a desktop shot of what the email looks like (sorry if it's too big), but I circled the little details that I found, which made the email illegitimate, for example, it doesn't say who the emailw as sent to, it just says "undisclosed-recipients" instead of your actual email. Anyway, just wanted to give all you PayPal users a heads up.

Re: PayPal Users Beware

My brother in-law got one a few weeks ago, he found out that it was fake when he followed a link and logged in with the wrong password and it still worked. He then went directly to the official paypal site and tried using that same password and it didn't work.
I believe there was someone on another board who got one of these bogus emails and he doesn't even have a paypal account.

Re: PayPal Users Beware

Ok....I know this isn't news...but I just recently recieved this and I wanted to advise people not to give in to a legit-looking PayPal email if they use PayPal while also making them aware of the small details which makes it illegitimate....And so what that Dave posted this, the one he recieved was relatively different compared to mine...

sheesh....I'm not that stupid
