COMPLETE: Customer's 1961 Ford Falcon Vintage Touring Car Racer

Just realized I forgot the exhaust tips, before I took pics. So that's why they're not there ... Enjoyable build, I was given creative control, which was nice. Basically meant to represent a 1960s touring car.

-Engine is a 289 from my parts box (originally from a '65 Mustang.)
-Chassis is an AMT-Ertl Ford Ranchero.
-Body is a Model Roundup '61 Falcon Resin Transkit.
-Wheels are Minilites from an import kit of some kind, I forget which.
-Paint is Tamiya AS-27 Gunship Grey with the center trim painted Dupli-color GM Light Sapphire Blue.

I love the stance of the car, and the paint finish. The engine detail is awsome. This is a very nice build, great job!

Thanks. And ya, bear in mind the paint is supposed to be kinda rough (the grey that is), not glossy or anything. After all it's a racecar!

This turned out very nice. I really like the subject and looks great with the simple livery of the day. Nice touch with the decals on the windows. Great job.
