92 Power Trunk Closer

It went dead today, and I cannot make the trunk close completely by manual push. I dont NEED a power closer, but is there an easy way to disable the mechanism or control so it may be closed manually. there is no remote trunk closer on my model as far as i know. (just bought it last month). Thanks

Don't know what you mean by 'remote closer' however, if you remove the entire closer assembly and verify it's dead... you can wind the latch down to the lowest point and re-install it that way. It should close manually after that.

Be sure you check the fuses first, that may be the only problem
