Apparently he's improving according to the BBC, let's hope he keeps it up.

Re: Top Gear's Richard Hammond in crash

Well if he had some low back pain, I just hope he does not end up a paraplegic. They are not saying much now because something has to be wrong. The spokesman said they saw some improvement. That means he might be getting some feeling back in his legs. Now what I just said is just my theory on whats up. I hope he is all right as well...

Re: Top Gear's Richard Hammond in crash

I'd imagine if he had pain in his lower back then he still has feeling in it, meaning it's unlikely he'd be paraplegic.

Then again, I'm not exactly a Neurologist.... So really I should probably be ignored

Neither am I..lol. He could still have pain in his back. but its if he has feeling below that point. It does not give very good info... I am just saying worst case scenario he could end up being a paraplegic...or he dies.....

Re: Top Gear's Richard Hammond in crash

he could become a grumpy old man like Clarkson in years to come and complain about his back problems from throwing a Skyline into ridiculous turns and driving a corvette with "medieval style" suspension.
