i have a 96 200sx SE-R. what sr20det can i swap in my car? i know there are different versions and what not. any advice or tips, would be appreciate it.

motor swaps from jdm nissian bluebirds are the most common, but i think the gtir swaps are pretty trick.......but, you would be better off asking in the sentra forums, as 200sx is what a 240 or silvia is called in parts of europe and russia

youre best bet to gather informaiton would be sr20forums.com, they are mostly fwd guys

btw both of the swaps i listed are s13 sr20det motor code swaps

Dang, your new and you've got it down already. People will often come in here thinking this is the FWD 200sx section.

Try in the sentra section, or 200sx. They are pretty common swaps and make nice little cars! Ive also seen a QR25DE swapped into a FWD 200sx that was pretty peppy. You might want to consider that, but the SR is probably cheaper.
