02 Dakota Quab Cab 4X4 - 4X4 problem!

My 02 Dakota wants to pull fairly hard to the right (ditch) after it is put into 4 wheel drive. Then when I try to put it back into 2 wheel drive, it seems like it takes forever before it will make the switch - at least 5 miles. Step by step instructions or clear details would be very much appreciated!

Re: 02 Dakota Quab Cab 4X4 - 4X4 problem!

Alot of times the front diff doesn't disengage till you stop or back up or lockup the front wheels, this is caused by the angle cut of the gears in the case being backwards allowing it to go into gear easier..
MIne used to pull to the right as well, I'm sure its something to do with alignment but I never cahsed the problem since I was plowing snow with the truck anyways
