Smith

Anybody see it last night on CBS? For those of you who are not familiar with this title, last night was the premiere of the show "Smith" starring Ray Liotta, Virginia Madsen, Amy Smart, Franky G (Wrench from Italian Job), Jonny Lee Miller (SickBoy from Trainspotting) etc. The show reminded me a lot of the new Italian Job except the characters seemed to have normal lives co-existing in society as well as their secret lives as big time thieves. This seems to be the theme of the show and the force of tension. It's pretty funny how Franky G is the car dude like he was in the Italian Job... "token car dude"... haha

Re: Smith

Good show I plan on keeping track of this one.

Also about The Italian Job, there will be another with the same cast called The Brazilian Job.

Re: Smith

Awesome show. i was definitely impressed.

So what about the rest of the premieres so far? The Class and well, Standoff has been on for a couple of weeks now. The Class is funny, may have potential. i think audiences are asking for drama though right now since the end of some of the best sitcoms and the start of some. Too many try...

Standoff, clever, kinda different, they could keep it going.

Tomorrow night is the biggest night for returning shows and new ones. Kidnapped premieres tonight, but on Thursday, we got Shark (have no idea), 6 Degrees (still no real idea), one of the greatest shows ever Grey's Anatomy, and then the Office, My Name is Earl and a few others.

Anyone notice the huge stars they are getting for all these shows, plus the producers???

Re: Smith

I can't wait to see the new season premiere of the Office. I would be like Michael Scott if I was in charge... hence the reason I'm not in charge... LOL

Re: Smith

What happened with "Smith"? I heard it got cancelled. Oh well, maybe the idea that the heroes were wrong-doers was too much for the television audience to handle... being that everybody that watches tv thinks it's real and automatically wants to go out and try everything that they see. Frankly, I thought it was a nice switch from all the cop shows and CSI type Who Done-its...
