chevy express 1 ton van won't start - mouse problem-
I let my 1999 Express 1 ton cargo van set by the garage outside a couple of weeks, and a mouse nested around the fuse box in the engine compartment. I found 2 chewed wires and fixed then, but it still will not start. The only odd symptom is the fuel gauge. It never moves and in apparently in the circuit that has problems.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? (I got all the straw and junk the mice moved in cleaned out. They were apparently not inside the van, just under the hood. please shoot me an email or links to schematics that might help. [email protected] or if you are in the Broken Arrow Okla, area call 918-277-9750 Thanks, Richard |

Did you check the fuses themselves?

fuses (inside and under hood) are all good. gas gauge is the only thing that appears non-functional

Best guess is that there are more chewed wires yet undiscovered.
