I had to jump in with the whole McLaren SLR bandwagon. If anyone has any questions I would be happy to answer them – so far looks like this is an amazing kit.

Mine will be similar... Chrome exterior and black/red interior

im doing mine in ts-53 deep metallic blue, but not sure about interior colour, maybe black/tan colour

This car is just too beautiful. I had planned not buying any more car kits but this looks as a need to have even though I can't seem to fit it into my schedule until somewhere around 2063 (in november...)

Looking good so far!

I'm building one for a magazine review, so I won't show it off until after it's published. So far it's going well, though I had to trim the female tab on the underside of the intake (the part at the front near the pivoting hood hinge) so that the hood would set down properly-the MB emblem was too high up. The final fit of body, side vents, hood, front bumper will be tricky to get all panels aligned.

I just got my SLR. What's up with the heavy defroster lines, including the lines on the headlamp lenses??? There aren't any lines on the lenses of the real car.

Hinting about the 722 version? Wow McLaren Orange...a very traditional McLaren color.....mine with a very decent color, I will post the pics when I receive the paint.

The lines are on the lenses of the real car but they are very small. But I agree they look a bit overdone in the kit...
