Sorry but we do not permit running more than one thread on the same issue or a bump notification.

I have combined your old post with your new one that maintains the urgency of the matter.

If you have any specific odb-ii DTCs you might consider posting them.

Re: couple of issue

Sounds like you have checked your codes, your wheel ABS sensor is malfunctioning. (Check Ohms on wheel sensors to be from 800-1400 ohms. ) Your using cheap gas, and one of your wires on the unlock circuit switch in your door is off or loose or bad crimp connection and your power steering pump or transmission is going out.

Re: couple of issue

actually i dont use cheap gas i only use premuim and mid grade at the worst, i just change the water pump and the fuel pump. i will check the wires in the door, so the abs sensor will turn the traction off? so what do i do about the codes that i did get when i checked it? thank you again

As in from a reputable station or as in higher octane? If you are using a highter octane fuel than what is recommended, then you have probably destoyed most of your emissions control systems, especially the cat converter. The factory designed the engine to run with a specific fuel grade...

As far as the codes go, you can get them again at an Autozone (they will pull them for you for free). It is much simpler to diagnose a problem with diagnostic codes.

You mentioned a camshaft sensor. This could be code 41 (it has a PO and something else in front of it from a PCM'ed car like yours) involving a thrown camshaft interruptor magner or (less likely) a bad cam sensor. Not fun.

Agreed on all points, but there is no evidence that the use of premium fuel in an engine programmed for 87 octane hurts anything but the pocketbook.

Re: PLEASE HELP ME ASAP!!!!!96 olds delta 88

that grinding noise could be the fuel pump, my dad had his replace and now he has this horrible noise, can hear it inside and out the car, when driving or just idleing, we were told there has to be a pulsator on the pump, but no mechanic wants to do it, lazy bastards.
