Downloading repair manual?

Hi there,

I know you can buy the 1998 Intrigue repair manual on CD, but I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy it online and then just download it, instead of having it sent to me?

Thanks,

Wes

Re: Downloading repair manual?

Where is this cd coming from? Is it a GM product from the dealer? If not you can get alldatadiy for $25 a year.

The Helm manuals are $120 for the set (2 or 3 books depending on year) and ebay may have them for cheaper. Haynes/Chilton also makes a manual for the W-bodies.

Quote:
Chilton’s #28380 manual covering GM “W” body cars, so Haynes must be the Intrigue one (either not as good as Helm).

Be wary of these people selling service CDs that are questionable. Somebody on this forum would have them if they are good = most likely they are not.

Re: Downloading repair manual?

I just read the Ebay Ad for this item. Apparently it's just a general manual. It says it is not vehicle specific, which probably means no specific information on the Intrigue at all.

I know it's expensive, but if you plan on doing a lot of work on this vehicle get the Helm manual and/or AllData. I have both.

Re: Downloading repair manual?

that cd does not give Intrigue specific information, but general car information. Good for someone just starting out on cars, but you could also get that type of information free on the internet like from autozone andothers.

The ~$20 Chilton or Haynes manual would be better.

Re: Downloading repair manual?

check out these AutoZone repair guides that are free. These free guides are better than the general cd information that the guy on Ebay is selling.

Couldn't find free AutoZone guides for:
Intrigue
Impala
Grand Prix
