95 T/A Fan problem
my 95 trans am is ovherheating b/c the fans arenot comming on. i hard wired both just to see if the motors were shot, and they wernt. so no ij ust need to figure out wherer the fan gets its signal to turn on i guess. Does it get a signal from the compter, or directly from a sensor in the block/radiator, and if so where is the sensor? or if any one has any other ideas as of why it is not turning on

Re: 95 T/A Fan problem
Your coolant temp sensor is probably shot. Have the car scanned (invest in a cable and scan it for free). See what the PCM says the temp is compared to your dash gauge. I know the temp for the turn on is pretty high but it should not allow for the car to overheat.
Also welcome to AF.
