My new project
After trying to get out of the 4th gen scene, I've been pulled back in once again. So after selling my last 4th gen hatch, the new owner asked me to swap a ls into for him, which wasnt a problem. And after all was said and done he asked if I wanted the motor from it. I ended up getting the complete motor, trans, and ecu for 20 dollars, killer deal eh?
This will be going into a std hatch or a crx, whatever I find first in decent shape. I have my eye on a crx in South Carolina right now that might end up in a bus trip down. And yeah its on the stand for a reason Here are some teaser pics: ![]() ![]() ![]()

If you're talking about my car you'd be better off with the engine already in it... LOL
I got a possible buyer anyway. But it's kickass that you want to stay with the 4th gen pocket rockets or as I like to call them "eggs"...

I probably won't start that till next weekend or the one after that. The integra is due for a timing belt and tensioner, while im in there its getting a water pump, crank seal, cam shaft seals, and cam cap seal, and a valve adjustment.

![]() hey hybrid whats the easiest thing to use to seperate the head from the block, just a breaker bar and deepwell? i just got the tranny pulled off my old blown a6 and im tryin to break it down more so i can get rid of it, but i have to wait till i go home next.

thefooshmeister, honestly dude I've never even heard of a deepwell. anyway, what I do to seperate them is i just grab hold of the intake manfiold and rock it back and forth and it comes off. I highly recomend that you DO NOT use a pry bar or anything to try and force it apart, because you risk damaging the surface of the block and head.

youve never heard of a deepwell socket? lol i wasnt talking about actually prying the head and block apart with the bar im talkin about the head bolts. those things are in there tight and i cant get leverage by myself without makin the whole block move so i figure a good pipe and deep socket would get them out.
