95 cutlass supreme-remote car starter

I've been having issues with my car starter...I press the button, the lights turn on like it's about to start, then the lights just shut off...Normally, I press the button, the lights turn on and the car starts...Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I recently got a sound system put in my car. Would that have anything to do with the remote starter not working? The key works to start the car...Winter is coming up and I live in New England where it's cold so it's nice to have my starter...Any suggestions would be great

I found out what was wrong...For some reason the switch was turned to off...
I would delete this post but I don't know how...
