electric cooling fan wire up?????

I was thinking about buying an electric fan to put on my 96 with a 4.3L, what size would you guys recomend i get and how would i wire the thing up???

The fan would need to be connected to a temperature sensor in order to know when to turn on. Some of the conversion kits include these.
