LHS FRAME bad? Other problems/questions

Members

This is my first post, I am hoping to get some help here........

When I drive my car and go around a corner or hit a bump it feels like the car is going all over the place, also when I put the brakes on I can hear/feel like something is banging under the car just when braking....I think it might be the frame or something that holds the wheels on????

And not only that but my LHS/95 has many wiring issues the interior lights and horn are hooked togehter as well the radio is together as well. when i change the fuse for any they all go out.

Another issues my right front tire seems to be wearing alot on both the inside and outside, I have had both outer tierod ends done and balljoints and still the same, any suggestions on what might be causing this to happen?

Now as of yesterday I have been noticing pools of antifreeze on the ground where the rad sits...... the fuse was going alot and then stopped now I notice this? what would this be?? my heat and AAC works fine right now anyhow.......

Last but not least... my gauges on the panel do not work at times, when tis happens the car feels sluggish like its in a low gear, then if i hit a bump or something the gauges work again until i hit another bump, sometimes it works sometimes it does not, when it does not work, the car feels like its driving in low.......

and I cannot tell when I am in overdrivvve either, the circle around D for drive tells me there is overdrivee but there is no light or indicator letting me know if its in overdrivee, I can feel the differece when I push the button on the shifter but cannot tell if its just drive I am driving in or overdrivve, how do you tell? the LHS is an 95 or 96. 6 cylinder.

The transmission was done as well, maybe this could be the problem???

I am female and know a bit about cars as I have had to try and fit issues by myself....but i could use some help and suggestions with the above topics......

Thanks in advnace for youur replies. Very much appreciated.

P.S> Is 350,000kms alot on one of these LHS cars? and if I tried to sell it with a broken frame is this legal and can the frame be fixed if it is broke, welded??? or somethiing???

Does anyone know what the book value is on a 95 lhs, loaded with AC, leather, tinted windows, new tranny, electric locks? the car is in MINT shape, exterior and Interior but has these issues mentioned about.....I might try to sell it if its legal IF the frame is broke.

Also one last question, IS it ok to drive this car in the winter if the frame is broke> or will the car go all over the place???

Thanks again!!

Rebecca

I would have your trans mounts checked. if bad that will cause your problem.

Re: LHS FRAME bad? Other problems/questions

Check the front sub frame to body rubber bushings. Mine are bad at 74k miles. If you lift up under the front center of the car with a floor jack then look behind the front tire there should be no gap between the sub frame and the body. You will also hear a thump when driving and go from giving light acceleration to coast under your feet.
Bushings are available at most local auto parts stores. Good luck.
