Best brand of spray paint to use?

I've had decent results with Testors spray, but if there is a paint that's better to work with or gives better results for a comparable (not outrageous) price, I'd like to try it.

Your preferences?

As far as acrylic lacquers are concerned...
Finisher's > Modeler's > GSI Creos (Gunze) Mr. Color > Tamiya spray transferred to an airbrush

Then, water base acrylics are
Tamiya water base acrylics = GSI Creos Aqueous Hobby Color > Pactra (not sure if it's still around...)

I think it's time to give Testor/Model Master acrylic...

i fifth teh petition on saying that TAMIYA NUMBER ONE. it works very well. I didn't even let it cure for a week, polished it w/ rubbing compound just to see how it turns out, and it came out beautifully.........

So, I guess Testor's gets the Nod ?

Tamiya paints have a good rep here, and on model pages too - but I prefer to hear from people who actually use them, hence me questioning here.

But just so there isn't any confusion, I'm not buying the paint for airbrushing, but the aresol cans that are ready to go.

For what air brushing costs, I can simply spray from a can for about the same, and without the BS of cleaning a brush, bottles, and having the whole setup. My brush is kinda getting cruddy, needs a new tip, my air tank sucks because it has a slow leak, and I have to fill it every time I need to paint something. Not to mention the cost of the airbrush thinner, cost of the 1/2 oz. jars of paint, etc.

So, that's why I'm trying out spray cans, but wanted to know what the good stuff is .

Thanks guys,

Kevin.

I have used both, the spray cans and the bottles from tamiya, I think that they are the best.
