Angry Rear disk brake problem

Hi everyone I just tried to do a brake job on my 1989 Chrysler Lebaron Coupe and am having a hard time. Here is what is what. When I pulled off the caliper and removed the pads I can't seem to be able to remove the rotor. The rotor spins and the ebrake work ok, put I still can't remove the rotor. I tried in vein to beat the thing off with a rubber mallet and a regular house hold hammer and still can't take it off. Is there any way of doing this without having to cut it off with a tourch, since I don't have one I think it will be rather hard. Thanks.

So you pulled out the cotter pin in the middle and removed the center bolt but it still won't come off?

I'm glad you replied the manual I bought did not mention the cotter pin or bolt in the middle it just said once you remove the lug-nuts and caliper just slide the rotor off. I hope I understood you right Thanks I will try it in the morning

Got the rotors off finally buy removing the whole wheel hub and beating them off. Before I put on the new ones I need to know where to buy Parking brake shoes. Every where I go no one has them listed, and most online sites only talk about drum shoes none listed for the Parking brake. I would rather find them at a parts store rather than going to Chrysler. If I had a part number that would have been easier, but can't find one one the shsoes because there so faded. Thanks

Here is a real pisser I called Chrystler about the rear parking brake shoes and they told me the no longer make or supply the shoes. I also checked with all local Auto Part stores in my area and beyound and no one carries them. Auto Junk yards were no go either. Now I can't register, inspect or insure the car. Any suggestions before I give it back to my fellow who will be upset coworker.

Is there a local brake reliner in your area? Or you can give CB&W a call or e-mail. They claim to have hard to find brakes in stock.
