TC questions

I am about to purchase a TC....
1. does it matter where I get the car...all prices seem to be the same
2. does the IPod option work well
3. how long do the tires last...
4. any problems in the wheel wells - looks like a dirt colector
5. do u like the options floor mats
6. the small spoiler lip seems to have a not so clean look
7. can you purchase options after you buy the car for less (everything seems to be retail) I like to get the car at cost ..... looks like you can not do it with the TC

no, cheaper to buy the options with the car then after, if bought with the car you don't have to pay install fees and/or painting fees

2. does the IPod option work well. Yes works great. Just plug n play
3. how long do the tires last. As long as any cars tires last and depending on how you drive. except the tires are preally poor on the tc.
4. any problems in the wheel wells - looks like a dirt colector. Not bad, but I clean my car at least once a week since it is brand new.
5. do u like the options floor mats. Very nice two piece floor mats. Carpet comes out and then you have rubber floor mats.
6. the small spoiler lip seems to have a not so clean look. I love my pedestal spoiler, not a big fan of the lip spoiler.

You can find parts on the internet MUCH cheaper than what a toyota dealership will sell them. Depending on the dealer they should install the parts for you no matter where you got them from.

Thank you for your input.....the real spoiler you have ...is it better to order it with the car -(so the factory puts it on ...or did you have yours dealer installed) once hole go thru the trunk...it could lead to rust... living in the Chigago area>

I ordered mine with the car from the dealer. All options are installed by the dealer except for the side curtain airbags. I wouldnt worry about rust from the dealer drilling holes
